Niklas and Petter

Even if I wanted, I couldn't describe this feeling.. I'm in some kharmatic spin, and enjoying every fuckin minute of it! Studentradion finally called, and today I had my first face to face meeting with my new co-speaker on "Urban", Niklas. Really nice guy! At first, we were going to have "Urban" once every other week, but as we spoke with the guys in charge, they decided to give us an hour EVERY week!! URBAN, COMING TO A RADIO NEAR YOU ONCE A WEEK!!

It's going to be a LOT of fun having "Urban" with Niklas, he's into a lot of grime and all of that, must admitt I'm kind of lost when it comes to grime, but I'll soon be enlightened.. I can't wait!!! My first time on the air is gonna be on Monday, the 25nd, so you better tune in @ http://www.studentradion.com/ I'll be waiting! We talked about the theme for Monday's show..Think maybe some underground US hippyhoppy..we'll see.. and on friday I'm going to a concert (Professor P), so maybe I'll talk a little bit bout that then.. and on Saturday Niklas is going to be on-stage at a hiphop event here in the U, so I think I'll go to that aswell..

Today, I was so bored at work, and suddenly I read that you could kind of "chat" with Petter, swedish hiphop star(?). so I sent him a question.. it was fun..

elon: tror du det är farligt att vara ödmjuk om man vill komma långt som hiphopartist i Svea?

Petter Askegren: Nej, jag tror det är mycket viktigt som artist eller som vad som helst. Jag tror att en person som är ödmjuk kommer längre i livet på alla plan. Sin personliga utveckling och allt som har med relationer att göra. Det är viktigt att kunna erkänna sina brister och misstag. Det tyder bara på att du är självsäker i botten och trygg. Du ska kunna skratta åt dig själv. Det här är punkter som jag förösker följa i livet och det är precis det jag pratar om i min musik.
